Travel Leadership Summit
September 29 – September 30, 2010
Washington, DC

A cornerstone of the industry’s advocacy work, the Summit and its growing participation played an influential role in achieving one of the industry’s greatest legislative victories. On March 4, 2010, President Barack Obama signed into law the first-ever national travel promotion and communications program which is projected to create 40,000 new American jobs, generate $321 million in new federal tax revenue and welcome 1.6 million new visitors to the U.S.
This year’s Summit delegates will gain insight on pressing issues affecting the travel community from industry experts, which will arm them with the facts to educate their elected officials on Capitol Hill about the powerful economic stimulus role of travel . Plus, delegates will get a front row seat to the latest inside-the-beltway news from one of the nation’s political thought leaders, such as last year’s speaker NBC Chief White House Correspondent Chuck Todd.
